Water at Barcelona’s beaches tends to be warm throughout the year with a low of 54 to 57F or 12 to 14C in March rising to a high of around 77 to 84F or 25 to 29C in mid August. Swimming is enjoyable throughout the year and surfing is possible at part of Barceloneta beach and at Bogatell beach.
